With the advent of the coronavirus pandemic, federal, state and local governments have implemented a host of emergency actions intended to address health and economic concerns.

Employers, employees, insurers, TPAs, attorneys and even the judiciary are all scrambling to understand the new landscape.

It’s goal is to provide guidance to employers in California and the many professionals who serve them, on how to best operate in this rapidly changing landscape. While everyone is navigating the many changes imposed by the pandemic, employers additionally must grapple with a shifting legal landscape. This guide is meant to provide clarity as they undertake that journey.

In the days, weeks and months ahead, much will change.

As new information arises, this guide will be updated continuously. For that reason, it won’t necessarily contain the same information or guidance from one day to the next. It will however, always contain our best current assessment of the state of the environment.
