On March 12, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. As a result, all 58 Counties in the State of California issued public health orders applicable to residents and businesses.


The message from the federal government, state government, and localities is STAY HOME unless the employer is considered an “essential business." Nonessential businesses can remain operational as long as the employees can telework.
